Making an informed decision

The goal of laser vision correction is to reduce or eliminate dependence on spectacles and contact lenses. What this means is that when successful, you can carry out many of your daily activities including driving and taking part in sports without the need to wear spectacles or contact lenses. If spectacles are needed, they will be of much reduced power and thickness. Satisfied patients are usually those with realistic expectations. As with all surgeries, there is no guarantee of perfect results. Some residual power may be present that require wearing spectacles or contact lenses for clearer vision. The surgery does not alter the aging process of the eye. Those approaching the age of 40 years or older may find that they need to use reading glasses after the procedure. Complications, although uncommon, can occur. We will provide additional information about the procedure during the eye examination which is part of the pre Clearvision Epi- LASIK Evaluation. We will answer all your questions before you sign your consent to
